Farm Water Treatment Zimbabwe
About this Project
Blue Steel Water completed the installation of a DTFS13x54 dual-tank filtration system on a farm in Zimbabwe, designed to improve water quality for agricultural use. The 13×54 tank size refers to the system’s large-capacity vessels—13 inches in diameter and 54 inches high—offering high flow rates ideal for farm-scale applications.
This setup uses a powerful combination of AFM (Activated Filter Media) and GAC (Granular Activated Carbon). AFM provides superior filtration performance, removing fine particles and resisting bacterial growth, while GAC effectively eliminates chlorine, organic compounds, and unpleasant odours or tastes.
The result is cleaner, safer water for irrigation and livestock—helping support crop health, boost yields, and reduce system maintenance. Another example of how Blue Steel Water is delivering tailored water treatment solutions across Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector.
