About this Project

We provide fully automated, state-of-the-art containerised MBR with sludge handling to treat domestic wastewater to General Limits on site.

The containerized MBR plant treats the raw wastewater with a modified active sludge process which uses natural bacteria to break down the organic matter and convert the waste into stable sludge, treated effluent and gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen and methane. The microfiltration provided by the membrane unit allows bacteria laden active sludge to be retained.  The increased biological concentration results in superior treated water quality.

Treated water quality reliably meets General Limits set by the Department of Water and Sanitation  and is currently suppling the farm with irrigation water.
